Glenmore - Clifton - Dilworth
Glenmore
The second largest geographic community in Kelowna, Glenmore stretches from the north side of Kelowna, just past the downtown core, all the way up Glenmore Road to John Hindle Drive behind the University. It hosts several schools, restaurants and shops, and the Parkinson Recreation Centre, and is a popular choice for family living.
This friendly and welcoming area boasts easy access to parks, amenities, and recreation including the Kelowna Golf and Country club, a semi-private golf course, including easy access to the local University Campus of UBC.
The area is comprised of older, established neighbourhoods, offering large properties with mature landscaping, and newer hillside developments with modern architecture. Low rise, multi-unit buildings add to the mix of available properties making Glenmore an excellent area for families, retirees and first-time buyers alike.
Dilworth
Dilworth Mountain, one of the two original mountain developments in Kelowna, features large, custom homes, built in the mid to late 1990’s (some new builds) and is well known for Dilworth Mountain Park. If you love mountain living in the city (including trail hiking, wildlife watching and a peaceful setting), Dilworth is the right neighbourhood for you.
Centrally located, Dilworth Mountain is convenient to all Kelowna amenities, and incorporates several public parks, green spaces, and hiking trails, as well as neighbourhood shopping plazas, restaurants, and medical offices.
Established neighbourhoods offer large lots, mature landscaping, stunning home designs, and gorgeous views. Newer strata developments attract younger singles and seniors.
Wilden
Wilden is located at the top of Clifton Road and winds across the mountainside, along the shores of Lake Okanagan. While some lots have stunning and expansive views of Lake Okanagan, the vast majority of this neighbourhood is comprised of hillside lots with medium to large custom homes. Well known for its vast network of hiking trails and wildlife, the e-bike is a regular fixture in this mountainside neighbourhood. A quick (10 minute) shot into downtown or to the University campus, this area is quite central and convenient to most aspects of daily life. Wilden shares a school catchment with Glenmore and kids are easily bussed to one of the many schools nearby.
